Welcome to The Koplushian Alliance The Alliance, or the Koplushian Alliance, is a fictitious universe that my friend Jim and I, created in our high school days (that means pre-internet, guys!) It is a more or less space opera type universe with lots of aliens and weird cultures. It’s more or less serious in that humor is appreciated but these are theoretically 'real' people so out and out silliness isn't part of it (its not Hitchhikers Guide, though Doctor Who style silliness is welcome). Only one planet, Koplushia, knows how to produce FTL travel and they have used that fact to impose their mostly benevolent ideas of government on all seriously starfaring cultures they have come across. It is arguable whether that is a good thing or not, but the Koplushian Alliance is by no means an Evil Empire style dictatorship. This wiki was started on Febuary 28, 2007, and we are currently working on 142 articles. |
